1. Who we are
Crushing Kitchens is operated by [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] ("we", "us", "our"), at [BUSINESS MAILING ADDRESS]. We provide kitchen remodel planning guidance, educational materials, a paid membership community, and one-to-one design sessions.
2. Accepting these terms
By using this website, downloading our free guide, joining the membership, or booking a session, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase from us.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from us or to create an account.
3. What we provide
- The Dream Kitchen Starter Guide — a free downloadable workbook containing the Kitchen Edit, Pantry Edit and Budget Worksheet, plus a video walkthrough.
- The Crushing Kitchens Membership — a recurring monthly subscription giving access to live group sessions, a design library, and session replays.
- One-to-one sessions — individual paid consultations booked through our scheduling link.
- The Kitchen Sink Podcast — free educational content published on third-party platforms.
We may add, change or discontinue any part of these offerings. If we discontinue something you have already paid for, see our Refund Policy.
4. Membership, billing and renewal
The membership is billed monthly in advance at the price shown at checkout. By subscribing you authorise us, through our payment processor, to charge your payment method automatically each month until you cancel.
- Your billing date is the date of your first payment, and renews on the same date each month.
- Prices may change. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price increase affects you, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
- If a payment fails, we may retry it. If it continues to fail, access may be suspended or cancelled.
- Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.
5. Cancelling your membership
You can cancel at any time — there is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Cancel through the link in your receipt or purchase confirmation email, or email camille_l@sbcglobal.net and we will cancel it for you.
Cancellation stops future billing. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. See the Refund Policy for when a refund is available.
6. One-to-one sessions
Sessions are booked through our scheduling system and paid in advance. Please reschedule or cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled time. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed without notice, may be treated as delivered.
7. The free guide
The Dream Kitchen Starter Guide is provided free in exchange for your email address. By requesting it you agree to receive it by email, along with related tips and occasional offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email — this does not affect any paid membership.
8. Important limits on our advice
We are not a licensed architect, structural engineer, general contractor, or financial advisor, and nothing we provide is a substitute for those services.
Our guidance is educational. It is based on professional cabinetmaking and kitchen design experience, but it is general in nature and cannot account for every condition in your home — structural elements, plumbing, electrical, gas, ventilation, load-bearing walls, local building codes, permits, or hidden defects.
Before carrying out any work, you must engage appropriately licensed and insured professionals for your jurisdiction, and obtain all required permits and inspections.
9. Your responsibilities
- Verify all measurements, materials, costs and specifications independently before ordering or building.
- Hire licensed, insured trades and confirm their credentials yourself.
- Obtain all permits and comply with all building codes and HOA rules that apply to you.
- Make your own final decisions about your budget, your contract, and your home.
Any cost figures we discuss are illustrative and vary widely by region, season, material availability and contractor. They are not quotes or estimates.
10. Intellectual property
All content we provide — the guide, worksheets, the DFIO method, videos, session recordings, the design library and this website — is owned by us and protected by copyright.
You may download, print and use our materials for your own personal kitchen project. You may not resell, redistribute, publish, share your login, or use our materials to provide services to others, without our written permission.
11. Community conduct
The membership includes a community space. Please keep it respectful. We may remove content or end a membership, without refund of the current period, for harassment, abuse, spam, promotion of other services, or sharing paid content outside the group.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular outcome, saving, or result will be achieved.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, construction costs, delays, or damage to property, arising from your use of our services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to our services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14. Third-party links and services
Our site links to third-party services including our payment processor, scheduling provider, email platform and podcast hosts. We are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes affecting active members will be notified by email. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [STATE].
